Learn the history of the free 3D modelling tool Blender, and how to install Blender 2.8
The Blender for beginners tutorials introduces you in the world of Blender. A video is around 10 minutes and shows you step-by-step how to make the given example.
This video describes the Blender Open Movies as well.
In 2003 I discovered Blender, a Dutch made open source 3D modelling tool. The interface was quite complex and difficult to understand. After lots of trial and error I was able to model my own "software box".
2005 became the year where I wrote my own Blender ebook: BlenderCourse. BlenderCourse was a 100 pages free PDF ebook, which allowed everyone to lear working with Blender. This book was written for Blender 2.37
Nowadays Blender looks completely different, which made the ebook obsolete. I took this as a change to create a new video serie about Blender.
With Bas on Tech I want to share my knowledge so others can experience this happiness as well. I've chosen to make short, yet powerful YouTube videos with a the same structure and one subject per video. Each video is accompanied by the Blender files.
